A dynamic, new display area is scheduled to start construction this year at the Cameron Park Zoo. Visitors will travel through
Texas along the Brazos River; experiencing the wildlife through indoor and outdoor exhibits. Alvine Engineering professionals
are in the process of completing the mechanical and electrical systems design for this project. Design features include a cost-
effective use of raw lake water versus potable water to conserve resources and lower operating costs as well as a time clock-
controlled lighting system used to reverse the day and night cycles of nocturnal animals.
